I am old …
Nothing could reiterate the fact that I am getting old than spending an evening with a bunch of middle and high schoolers. Last week I got to help out with the youth group at my church and it was blast. It also brought back a lot of “when I was your age …” memories. I have crossed the age of 12 is young to 16 is a kid! I guess that also explains my blogs not to flashy and too philosophical. It also keeps me going with writing stuff even though nobody writes any comments. My site trackers tell me that people have visited this blog from all across the globe but not a single comment.
Now that I have rattled of on the lack of comments (not that its going to help any), have ever noticed that the average life span of the ladies is more than men. I wonder why?? Maybe the nagging and the shopping spree play a part in it … People in Humanities this is a good topic for a PhD.

Come, my friends,
‘T is not too late to seek a newer world.
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
Of all the western stars, until I die.
It may be that the gulfs will wash us down:
It may be we shall touch the Happy Isles,
And see the great Achilles, whom we knew.
Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and tho’
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
